Furnishings Solution Service

This service includes hard and soft furnishings (window dressing, cushions, bedheads, bed covers, tables, chairs etc), space planning (furniture layouts), lighting (electrical layout, fittings, etc) for both inside and out.

When moving houses or into a new built home, updating or combining furniture styles is usually the time when new furniture purchases turn out to be really confusing. With the aide of our Designer your ideal style can be realised with some well-planned savvy purchases. You set the budget, style, direction and any important specifics and our design, decorating skills and experience with window treatments and furniture will take the stress out of creating your new style.

The Furnishings Solutions service JLD offers starts with a briefing either via email or phone discussing your areas of need (an initial in-home consultation may be required for some larger projects). We carefully note all your preferences for function, style, colours and budget during the design brief consultation. Then JLD gets to work sourcing appropriate hard and soft  furnishings to present to you at a 90 min in-home presentation. Where our Designer Jeannie will discussing with you the sample and selection options and ideas and answer any questions you have. Once the selections have been finalised a Furnishings Selections schedule of your new look will be presented to you at another in-home appointment.

The Schedule includes;

  • THE FIT: An accurate floor plan of your room showing the position of all your new things, plus any furniture you elected to keep. This may include lighting/electrical layout.
  • THE LOOK: Mood board (a visual of the style) & Individual images showing all the details of the new pieces.
  • THE FEEL: You’ll have real samples so you can touch the texture and quality of fabrics.
  • THE VALUE: Quotes can be supplied for window furnishings, bedding, upholstering etc. Supply, delivery and installation of furnishings can also be quoted.

Giving you everything you need to purchase yourself or have the JLD team organise everything for you.

The cost of this Furnishings Solution service is $540 (incl GST) per room or area.

*travel to and from locations beyond 15km of Hamilton GPO incur a travel fee of $1.90/km.
